DJs & Producers

Apply to join MCRBee as a producer or DJ. Producer accounts are created manually by MCRBee admin only after review, approval, contract checks and setup.

Apply to Become a Producer Producer Login

How producer accounts and slots work

  1. Submit your producer application using the official MCRBee Cloud application form.
  2. MCRBee reviews your application and contacts you if approved.
  3. Admin manually creates your producer account and assigns any approved show slots.
  4. Revenue is earned through listener paid interactions, listener producer subscriptions, advertisements and donations.
  5. Your producer login and Citrus3 DJ access are created and sent manually by the admin team.
  6. You use the Producer Portal to manage show notes and playlist information.
  7. Your MP3/audio files, AutoDJ and live broadcast connection remain managed inside Citrus3.

This keeps producer access controlled by admin while Citrus3 remains the broadcasting system. There is no public producer self-registration.

Why it is good for DJs and producers

  • Apply for a regular professional radio slot without needing your own station infrastructure or public self-registration.
  • Promote your DJ name, mixes, events and social channels to MCRBee listeners.
  • Build a Manchester-focused audience and create reusable show content.
  • Submit playlists and show notes for station records and promotion.
  • Use free Mixxx software to broadcast from your own computer.
  • AutoDJ resumes automatically when your live show ends.

What you manage in the Producer Portal

Your bookings

View your free hour slots, booking status and Citrus3 access status.

Your playlists

Add, edit and delete your own playlist and show-note submissions. Admin can review and approve them.

Your access notes

View your Citrus3 username and access notes once MCRBee has issued them. Passwords should be sent securely and should not be publicly shared.
